Library Media Program Goals
2003-2007

Teaching and Learning

1. Library media centers will empower each school's curricula and further the educational goals of the Tantasqua Regional School District.

2. District library media centers will work to increase the integration of information technologies into the teaching learning process.

Information Access and Delivery

3. All library media centers will provide students and staff with access to a broad range of current information in various formats, from numerous sources.

4. All library media centers will maintain current technologies to support electronic information access and delivery.

Program Administration

5. The Tantasqua Regional School District will have a unified library media program that will be coordinated with programs in the elementary districts of Union 61.

6. The Tantasqua District's library media centers will operate according to current, professional, state and national standards.

7. All Tantasqua District library media centers will present materials budgets sufficient to support curriculum-based student learning, according to recognized state standards.
