GETTING YOUR PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT PROPOSAL APPROVED
If you would like to present a proposal for consideration:
The Faculty Senate of the Tantasqua/Union 61 Schools, a representative group of teachers, curriculum supervisors and other building specialists, principals and administrators from the Superintendent’s Office, meets regularly to discuss a variety of curriculum and professional development related topics. One important task they undertake is the review and approval of professional development proposals. If you are interested in submitting a proposal for consideration, please use the forms located within this Professional Development section and submit a complete packet, via e-mail or interoffice mail, to Theodore Friend, Associate Superintendent. Proposals should be submitted at least 7 days in advance of meeting dates to allow ample time for Faculty Senate members to thoroughly review in advance.
