Homework - Parents play a critical role in their child's schoolwork. To help ensure your child's success, practice math facts, use a calendar, practice coin recognition and, most importantly, READ TO AND WITH YOUR CHILD.
Homework - Our team encourages daily reading, frequent parent read-alouds, home preparation for weekly spelling tests, and the study of math facts. Homeroom teachers will notify you of particular assignment policies.
Homework - We initiate responsibility through homework and special projects throughout the school year. A homework policy statement is sent home by each teacher at the beginning of each school year. A minimum of 15 minutes of sustained silent reading or family read aloud is encouraged every night along with any other homework that your child's teacher assigns. If there are any questions about homework, please contact your child's teacher.
Homework - Approximately 45-60 minutes of homework can be expected Monday through Thursday. Homework is an important means of communication between the home-school connection. Parental support and cooperation is appreciated. If you have any questions or concerns, please contact your child's teacher.
Homework - On the average, homework should take between 1-1 1/2 hours every evening. If you have questions concerning homework, please contact your child's teacher.
Homework - Each student receives an assignment book for the recording of both daily and long term assignments. In addition, all students receive a list of Science and History/Social Science W.B.E. projects which must be completed throughout each quarter. Homework on average should take between 1 1/2 to 2 hours every day. Please contact your child's teacher with any questions about homework. |
