Guided Reading Program

Guided Reading is a program which is comprised of levelled books  ranging from levels 1 through level 28 for grade 1 and levels 20 -  38 for grade 2.     Each lesson consists of the introduction of a new story and the vocabulary activities.  A mini skill lesson follows.  Then, a writing activity concludes the class.  Fluency practice occurs  in the classroom throughout  the day and the follow up is to practice the daily story at home.
