Brimfield Elementary School exists to provide learning opportunities that guide all students toward proficiency in core subject areas emphasizing English Language Arts and Mathematics. To support this mission, faculty will:     Serve as role models     Maintain a safe environment     Provide instruction based on the Massachusetts Curriculum Frameworks to     serve all students in English Language Arts, Math, Social Sciences and Science     Assess student learning to determine what students know, understand and can do     Provide programs that promote well-rounded students in Art, Computers, French,          General and Instrumental Music, Library, Physical Education and Spanish     Collaborate with parents, students, other faculty and members of the community     Take part in Professional Development and continued learning To support this mission, students will:     Serve as role models     Attend school     Do their best work daily     Behave respectfully and cooperatively     Take responsibility to become active learners and contributing members     of the community To support this mission, parents will:     Serve as role models     Communicate with school personnel about concerns and student needs     Maintain a home environment that is conducive to developing responsible     learning habits     Participate in parent/teacher conferences     Volunteer when possible     Attend school and community events
