Ski Club

Ski Club strives to provide a venue for wholesome outdoor activity for our young people during the winter months.  The club meets for six Saturday afternoon/evenings in January through February.  The members travel by bus to Mount Wachusett in Princeton, MA.  Tantasqua’s Ski Club is the oldest student club at Wachusett Mountain.  Many generations of students began their lifelong love for skiing and boarding by participating in the club.

Tantasqua’s Ski Club will take to the slopes on the following Saturdays in January and February:

  • January 5th
  • January 12th
  • January 19th
  • January 26th
  • February 2nd
  • February 9th

We will meet at the front entrance of Tantasqua High School at 1:30 P.M., depart the school at 1:50 P.M. sharp and return at approximately 9:00 P.M.

Please be at the school promptly at 9 P.M. to pick up your child!  If you are more than 15 minutes late, your child will not be allowed to attend ski club the following week.

All participants must ride to and from the mountain on their assigned bus.

As per Wachusett Ski Area’s policy, all beginner skiers or boarders MUST take lessons.  Anyone found to be skiing or snow boarding beyond his/her ability may lose his/her lift ticket with no refund!

While participating in Ski Club, Ski Club members are to behave as if in school, as all school policies, practices, rules, and regulations as defined in the Student and Parent/Guardian Handbook apply.  Smoking, foul language, horseplay or any other inappropriate behavior will all be dealt with severely.  Violating subjects will lose his/her lift ticket and/or Ski Club privileges with no refund.

Remember, membership in this Club is a privilege, not a right.
